Manchester United sent scouts to watch Giovanni Quenda, a rising star winger from Sporting Lisbon. Before making a move for him this summer.
The Red Devils have been linked with a move for the 17-year-old since Ruben Amorim move to Old Trafford late last year. The report states that
United sent scouts to watch Quenda in the game against FC Porto on Friday.
It is also stated that the Manchester club will assess Quenda again on Tuesday night. When they take on Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
Quenda has already made 36 appearances across all competitions so far this season. He was deployed as a wing-back on the right flank by Amorim until November. Which suggests he would be a strong fit for the philosophy the former Sporting boss has brought to Manchester.
Quenda came through the youth system at Benfica before moving to Sporting in 2019 at the age of just 13.
Amorim put him on the pitch when he was just 16, making him the youngest player in history to play for the club.
Despite being born in Guinea, Quenda chose to play for Portugal at youth level. And was called up to the Nations League squad by Roberto Martinez in August for the games against Croatia and Scotland, แทงบอล UFABET ราคาดีที่สุด ไม่มีขั้นต่ำ but did not play in either match.
